“Take responsibility for helping others”
My marketing tip for this week is to spend some time thinking about the idea of giving information back to your audience.
Far too often, we are selfish and hold on to everything yet we want to market ourselves. The best way to do it is to show that you are on top of your field, you know your game, and you have something unique to share with people.
Remember: You’re the one that’s delivering it so people want to come to you: the originator of the idea. The first trick is don’t be afraid to share your intellectual property. Marketing is not always about fancy one-liners and just saying you’re the best. Prove it!
Don’t be afraid to give something back. Take responsibility for changing the way people think about you; take responsibility for making the world a better place for your clients. Because after all, at the end of the day, every business is in there to solve a problem. Just show them exactly why you have the credibility to do exactly that.
